Advent is a time of waiting, representative of the time when we were waiting for the arrival of our Messiah and King. But there’s also the waiting for His return and second coming. So as we enter the Advent, let us remember what we are waiting for, the glorious coming of our King!
“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.
Therefore Israel will be abandoned until the time when she who is in labor bears a son, and the rest of his brothers return to join the Israelites.”
There’s not really much else to say, so I’ll issue my challenge. I gave a devotion in assembly about seeking God. Advent is a time to seek God everyday. 5 minutes everyday is all it takes. Whatever that means to you, however makes sense for you.
In the name of Yeshua the Most High King I bless you. May He hold your heart and strengthen you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. God Bless. Amen.
