Mikayla Cravens has been an avid athlete since a young age, and has continued being a star player at LCA since she started attending the school. Cravens arrived in the seventh grade, and has played multiple sports for LCA since then, including field hockey, lacrosse, soccer, and cross country. She has played for varsity teams since freshman year, and has been captain for both the lacrosse and cross country teams. When running for cross country, she was one of the top ten runners in Eastern Independent League cross country meet, placed fourth in the New England Preparatory School Track Association meet, and made it all the way to the All-Star meet, which only the top twenty runners from EIL’s made it to. Although Mikayla is finishing up her sports career here at LCA because she will be graduating this June, she will be continuing on in the sports she loves. The lacrosse coach for Cravens’ confirmed college Gordon recently scouted Mikayla for the team, and she has accepted the offer to play for the Gordon team this coming autumn. Good luck to Mikayla and her future endeavors as a collegiate athlete!
