Last Tuesday, in the minutes following the afternoon announcements notifying students that we could be on our ways, the Activity Center filled with hungry learners. The Blue and White staff held its first social — a frozen custard fiesta, courtesy of Abbott’s Custard in Lexington — to give aspiring writers and photographers an opportunity to learn about creating content for the newspaper this year. The turnout was impressive, the custard was scooped hard and fast by our editors, and the laughter and excitement could be heard from the halls. We would like to thank everyone who attended and was ready to become part of this chamber, this squad, this growing group of journalists-to-be, set out to capture the stories and memories contained in our school and answer the questions that continue to pass us by with every day spent in this grand world.
